Tremper Mound
Tremper Mound, located near the State Route-104 and 73 split in Rush Township, was built by the ancient Hopewell people, and excavated in 1915. This proved to be one of the most prolific and important mounds ever investigated. Tremper Mound is not currently open to the public; however, the Arc of Appalachia hopes to open the area for public viewing soon.
